The bat manufacturers give the warranty, and all warranties, repairs or discounts given on any replacement bats are at the discretion of the manufacturer. The raw materials used to make a cricket bat are grown and not manufactured and this, together with the nature of the game (impact with a hard ball) means there are so many factors that can and do effect the condition and life span of a cricket bat. Such as preparation (knocking in), maintenance and care that each bat returned is looked at on an individual case by case basis.

Dont mean to sound rude but what will you do if I buy a $400 bat from you and it breaks 2nd Day?
and it has been professionally pressed etc so not my fault.

Certainly if it is not your fault, but a fault with the bat and it is repairable (eg. a new handle required) the manufacturers would repair it for you. If it is not repairable, the manufacturer would then replace the bat.
PLEASE NOTE: Even bats that have been professionally pressed still require more work especially on the toe and edges, as this is generally the area where damage will occur. It is also recommended that you then begin with light work in the nets (such as throw downs) against good quality old balls before you use your bat in a game. The more preparation you put in the better your bat will perform and last.

Again every bat is looked at on a case by case basis and it depends on the bat and the damage but, yes if that is what is required we would send it back.
