Hi Schona,
We are currently in the process of sorting through our options in relation to sponsored players. But we welcome any cricketer to register their interest in becoming sponsored by Bomber cricket. Just forward an email to sales@ozcricket.com.au with a little detail about your achievments and ambitions.

Looks like quality gear OZ, do you have your own factory in India or buy off factories? Also wanted to know do you have any international or state cricketers using your gear yet? And what has the feedback been like on the Fighter bats as I'm interested to learn a bit more about them before I buy, Thanks

Hi Robtheknob,
We have our own factory in India where we manufacturer all of our own gear. We sponsor 7 players at the moment, plus a further 5 in part sponsorship. We currently only sponsor players playing first grade cricket or Juniors coming through the ranks. We are also lucky enough to have Emily Rixon on board with us representing Bomber Cricket. Emily has just been selected in Western Australias state squad , the "FURY". Our bats are hand crafted by and our top of the range bat is made by the master batmaker who has over 45 years of experience making all different kinds of bats. And Radomir please let us know your thoughts on the Bomber bat after a few uses.

I currently use the Bomber fighter range. Bat, pads, gloves etc. I find that all the equipment is top of the range and top qulaity gear. I've been playing cricket for 8 years and all the equipment is up to all the standards of the big named brands. (Gray nicolls, Kookaburra etc.) As a new , upcoming brand the equipment is cheap and you definilty do get value for money. Any questions about the gear feel free to ask me, if you need a point of view on something.

Yeah I bought one of the fist B52's made. I got the B52 standard, which is made from the indian /english willow. Its been a great bat, the thing I like most about them are the thickness in the middle of the bat and thet massive edges, plus its not at all heavy, mine weighs in around 2lb 8oz but still plenty of wood. I'm looking at upgarding to the B-52 PRO which are english willow from UK but at the moment Im happy with the bat I have!! I have a club mate who also has a Bomber bat, the Fighter PRO, top of the range, and although I've not used it (he wont ket anybody touch it) he says its a superb bat.

If i were to purchase a bomber bat would it come already knocked in and ready to go or would it need to be oiled, a toe put on it and then knocked in?

Bomber bats come requiring knocking and oiling. However we can have the bats knocked and oiled for a small charge of $15. All bats come with a toe guard already fitted, along with a full length bat cover.

Hi everyone i have used the bat for all my games and training sessions and the bat is a wonder. I bought the bomber fighter. The middle is sweet and in one inceident I was at training and in the spin net a did a cross bat nudge in the air and the ball went flying to the clubhouse! Its great for drives and is a power bat! But the sweet spot is to high up the blade

Yes, lightest weight we can do is at 2lb 6oz, any lighter and you start losing thickness on the edges and behind the sweet spot.

Hi Schona,
The plain bat is made at our factory, we dont sell "crappy" bats at Ozcricket! As for bowling spikes, might be something we look at in the future.
