One of the lads down at our club has a BDM Aerodynamic, he swears by it. Other than that not really seen any other cricketer using them,

My Son is sponsored by BDM. He has found the gear to be top shelf. He uses a range of bats and equipment and believes it to be as good as any on the market. If anyone has any questions regarding the BDM equipment, we would be happy to respond. BDM do not have a strong branding program which probably explains the limmited sightings.

My son uses the; Terminator, Black Label & Dynamic Power models. He believes the Terminator to be the best, (using one at the moment) so have a look around before you purchase a bat. Before using the BDM gear he used several brands including: GN Players, GM Purist, Kookaburra and an Aussie brand Sommers. He much prefers the BDM gear.

BDM has been business for many decades ..they are ISO 9000 certified. They make quality stuff. I personally uses SS Ton which is equally good. I would buy BDM bats any day..even their non english willow (Kashmir Willow) bats have exceded my expectations.

PS, I would say now that BDm is much better value than SS, SS have really upped their prices and although not to the level of GN etc, they are getting close. I have found the best value to be the Pakistan made bats, brands like AS, produce great quality gear at very reasonable prices.

Anonymous- The previuos BDM Australian rep was a gentlemen (Rob Clarke) Rob had expert knowledge of the BDM company and range and always generously supported young talented and promosing players. Rob was working from the 5 star cricket store based at Canberra. Unfortunately Rob has now moved on and my son doesn't have a relationship with the new rep. However we cannot speach more highly of the brand. The equipment is top shelf. Any questions ???

No I am not. As mentioned previously 5 Star cricket located in Canberra carry a wide range of BDM equipment, however up to this point my dealings with the new sales rep has been a little dissapointing. Having said that it would be worth giving them a call, they might package a full kit at a reasonable price. The guy to tak to is Sabastian Ellis. As with all brands to get the best product you need to stay with the top range, Terminator, Black label ect. My Son used the BDM brand for 2 x seasons and is in a good position to comment on the quality.

Hi guys, im looking at a new bat this season, playing 1sts cricket, but tossing up between hunts county bats and bdm bats. Looking for a fairly light bat 2"7 is pretty good for me. Anyone know how the BDM Titanium stacks up?
Cheers!

New Bat, My son has used the Terminator/Untamed range of bats for some time. The Titanium is probably as good, but has a different shape and feel. If you require a weight of around 2lb 7oz I would recommend the Terminator, it is around half the price of some Brands and is probably a better bat. Any questions?

Why is BDM almost unheard of if it is such a "great" bat?

That's a good question. I assume because of the market share that BDM has in India? I do know that they were established around 1924. Regarding the quality I am just 'calling it as I see it' so to speak. The BDM bats have been top shelf, far better than any brands we have used previously, however the pads are not as good in comparison to others and gloves are nothing special.

[b]Hey all, I would rate BDM titanium as one of the best bats around (Kookaburra Kahuna/ SS Ton ELITE - Ranger - Professional/ SG Sunny Tonny/ SG Cobra King)...

Veeru ( Sehwag) uses BDM....its true that BDM is a very old company with high quality /compliance standards. So is Sareen Sports...SS....can't go worng with SS or BDM as long as you get it from a genuine retailer.
