Yes, confirmation today from our bat manufacturer in India that English willow will rise again in 2008 by 8%, after a increase this season which has seen bat prices rise by 30% we can again look forward to the same sort of increase next year. This price increase is worldwide and will affect all companies maiking english willow bats.

Well I guess its down to the shortage of English Willow, and from what I understand it is only going to get worse. So I guess we will have to assume that either the growers of the willow have had some good growing plans in place for the past 10-20 years otherwise kashmir willow will become increasingly more popular as the price of englsih willow bats go through the roof.
